ABSTRACT
identity is the source of meaning and being constructed and on the other hand, it is influenced by social, cultural, political, economic, environmental, and etc. in fact, the relationship between identity and other social and cultural structures is reciprocal and it is a continual process of restructuring, construction and construction. the aim of this study is sociological determinants the effective on social identity of secondary school secondary school students and rely on a comparative strategy of quantitative research method, survey technique and questionnaire for data collection. the population of secondary school secondary school students and 375 people were selected as a statistical sample. the sampling method is random and the type of cluster is multi - step analysis and data analysis has been done using spss and pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate analysis (multiple regression)and path analysis. the results showed that there is a positive significant relationship between the independent variables (satisfaction of self, intrinsic values, coordination with group values and the approval of others)with the dependent variable of social identity and three dimensions (national, religious, family); but there is no significant relationship between the socioeconomic base variable with social identity. also, multivariate regression results show that the coefficient of determination( r2)of four variables in the equation, namely the coordination of group values, the approval of others, the values and satisfaction of one of them, explain or predict /36 the variance of national identity.
