In recent years, body image has been considered as a phenomenon influenced by cultural and technological contexts. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the media and internalization of norms and body image among female students of the Guilan University. The theoretical framework is mainly based on the ideas of Thompson, Thomas Cash and feminist's point of view. This study was conducted using a quantitative method and survey with 400 samples. Tompson and Heinberg’s Standard measures of socio-cultural attitudes towards appearance and body image scale had been used. Findings indicate that there is a significant relationship between media consumption and internalization of media and socio cultural norms and body image. But there isn’t any significant relationship between demographic variables such as socioeconomic status, age and marital status. The standard impact factor of regression model showed that the strongest predictors of dependent variables (body image) were: internalization of media and sociocultural norms, media consumption and normative pressure from men. Thus body image is not just the consequence of media, and also, cultural values and other criteria play significant role in this issue. The links between the media as a modern factor and cultural values and norms of society as a traditional factor has been mixed in the internalization of beauty criteria and formed new cultural and social values.

Action research is a self-collective type of research conducted by participants in social situations, in order to improve educational or social logic and justice in performance, as well as their understanding of these practices and situations in which these performances are done. Accordingly, all persons that the subject of the research is directly connected with their lives, should not be considered solely as a research topic, but should have active role in all stages of research and involve people as researcher in the study. <br /> In this paper, first, the basics of paradigm, key features and most important traditions of the action research are studied, then while bring up the theory "communicative action and public sphere" of Jürgen Habermas, action research potential to create communicative action in public spheres are discussed. <br /> Based on the results, action research is a communicative action that creates a public space among its participants. The process of action research is a mutual study in order to reach an intersubjective agreement, mutual understanding of a situation, non-coercive consensus about what should be done, and finally getting a sense that is rational and legitimate not only in the individuals' idea but also in the mind of any rational person (universal claim). Moreover, action research is to create situations in which people can interact with each other and in more understandable ways, truer, and morally better ways achieve the current understanding and practice in the world.

The women play an effective role in the whole levels of the migration process. Nowadays, women participate in the migration process independently, as a family scheduling and supporting part. This paper verifies the women’s role and the determining factors in the family migrations to Hamedan city. The research method in this study has been developed utilizing the calibration strategy and the data evaluation based on questionnaire and interview with sample persons. The sampling framework in this research has been implemented using random systematic clustering. The verification of the two-variable tests illustrated that among all selected five assumptions only one of those was omitted. Furthermore, the results of Logestic regression analysis demonstrated that women’s educations, the age during the migration, the women’s dependency levels before the migration and the year in which the migration occurs are four effective assumptions which remain in the model. These four variables describe about 32% variance related to dependent variable. Finally, the results demonstrated that the women are more effective in the migration decision making compared to men. As a result, with the increase in the social position of women, the women’s role in the migration process is amplified.

Consumption of foods away from home, corresponding to drastic changes at work organization and social life, beside of remarkable increase, has been a daily life challenge for many busy residents of today's large cities. Present study aimed at investigating the relationship between social relation and influence with the amount of food consumed away from home. To this end, distinction (Bourdiue), social influence (Kelman), and mechanisims of social relations (Pierce) have been utilized as the theoritial frameworks. According to these approaches, food-related experiences, as an important indicator for socio-economic and even identity status, have been increasingly acquired social meaning. The study has been done using the survey method among 15 years old and over individuals of Tabriz city, which 409 of them have been chosen by the use of stratified sampling technique, as the study sample. <br />According to bivariate analyses, "social relations" was not, and "social influence" was statistically correlated with quantity of food consumed away from home. Age (negatively), Sex (In favor of men), and residence place (in favor of well-off districs) are related to volume of food consumed away from home. According to regression analysis’ results, both of independent vrariables, including; social relations and social influence, have shown statistically positive and significant effects on dependent variable, after contoroling for background variables's effects such as; age, sex, and residence place. Five mentioned variables could explain around 21 percent of variations in dependent variable. Social influence’ effect was more important comparing to other effects in the final fitted regression model.
