Human social life at every stage has been associated with a kind of social solidarity. The multiplicity of theories and researches in this field has increased the need for meta-analysis in order to combine the findings and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses. This research uses qualitative meta-analysis method in order to systematically review the concepts. The main purpose of qualitative meta-analysis of studies in the field of social cohesion and diagnostic study of the status of scientific production of articles on social cohesion and solidarity, analytical summary and also to provide sociological analysis of the importance of social cohesion and social solidarity for social and political planning institutions. For this purpose, 55 Persian articles related to the issue of cohesion and social solidarity were identified in the period 1380-1397. The results show that the lack of a single and agreed definition among researchers has led to multiple definitions based on the orientation of the researcher and his ideology. On the other hand, the multidimensional and multilevel nature of coherence has led to different levels of analysis of the subject and sometimes reductionism by researchers.
