The current research is practical and according to its nature, a content analysis descriptive research method was used. The statistical population study was the content of all social studies textbooks of the elementary school second grade in the academic year (1395-1396) and the statistical sample was considered the same as the statistical population. The research instrument was the content of social studies content check list based on the learning approach for coexistence. Content validity was used to estimate the validity of the log and reliability was 0/092 calculated using Scott's method. To analyze the data, frequency estimation and Shannon entropy method were used. Findings showed that the attention to components of learning approach for living together in the content of textbooks does not have a normal distribution, As the component of peace education has the most attention and components of health education, environmental education has the least attention is paid to the multiculturalism, citizenship and human rights. Which requires consideration and revision of social studies curriculum of the second period by relevant authorities.
