		<Abstract>The main purpose of this study is to identify the difference of technological literacy in high school students with their teachers in Hamadan educational system in 2013-14. Causal-comparative- survey was used in this study. The research population consists of all female teachers (n = 878) and female students (12,526) of high school that 265 teachers and 373 students were selected as sample size by using stratified random method of sampling. Data collection tools for this study were two questionnaires based on technological literacy, which were provided based on international technological literacy standards. Validity was measured by applying corrective ideas of pundits and reliability was measured by using Cronbach&#039;s alpha, which were 0/92 and 0/89 for teachers and students questionnaire, respectively. Data analysis by descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, U Mann-Whitney, and Friedman rank test showed that there is a distance between technological literacy of high school students and their teachers. However, the levels of understanding in students and teachers of the five concept in technological literacy are understanding communication technology and society, and understanding design technology with the highest average rating. The least aspect in teachers and students is related to acquiring the abilities in technological world. Teachers and students as two different generation in terms of technological literacy and of understanding its components are different. This is the sign of generational differences according to Digital inequality theory (2006).</Abstract>
