Healthy people are the pivot of social development, and the process of development is impossible unless the issue of health is taken into consideration. Social health is influenced by various factors which have been discussed in sociological studies. The present article aims at a sociological analysis of women’s social health and the factors affecting it. In this study, using surveys and descriptive methods, the women aged 18-55 in district 4 of Tehran were studied at the level of individual unit in 2015. The sample of the study consisted of 385 women who were selected based on multi-stage cluster sampling and random sampling, and who completed a standardized questionnaire. The questionnaire was validated at 0.79, and the hypotheses of the study were analyzed using SPSS 22. The findings indicated that women’s social health was at an average to high level, and the highest mean value was attributed to the social acceptance aspect and the lowest to the social prosperity. The findings also showed a direct relationship between feeling of social security, openness, religious affiliation, and marital status with social health in the studied society. The results of regression indicated that, among the effective variables (feeling of social security, religious affiliation, and openness to experience), religious affiliation with 0.59 is the most effective variable on women’s social health in the sampled population. The findings also illustrated that the variables feeling of security, religious affiliation and openness can explain up to 50% of the dependent variable.

Migration, like any social process, is a gendered process. Motivations, constraints and opportunities of migration for males and females are different. Recently, women’s participation in migration movements is increased in quantitative and qualitative dimensions, even a subject entitled “feminization of migration” has been proposed in the literature. Thus, the aim of paper is to analyze migratory behaviors of Iranian males and females and its determinants using micro-census data from the 2011 census. The results of paper showed that migration in Iran is a gendered process and male dominated. Males and females migrate for many different reasons and they play different roles in the migration process. Comparing with three-fourth of males, one-fourth of migrant females has an active role in the migration process. Multivariate analysis indicated almost three fourth of gender differences in having active role in migration process due to socio-economic inequalities. Thus, male-oriented economic structures and gender norms play an important role to explain gender differentials in internal migration in Iran.

Higher education system, by any definition; is also an administrative structure and how to deal with the political system and governance can be the source to great changes. Higher education systems interacting method with the political system and also the level of politicization, can effect the goals, mission, vision, and it’s functionality by creating a series of chain reactions.Politicization is a complex phenomenon, which most often manifests as polarization between politics and the bureaucracy. But some conditions increase the complexity of it and shows the ambiguity of multi-polarization.Distribution of political power prevents the establishment meritocracy in higher education and it’s mission and goals of higher education systems. Politicization of the bureaucracy not only by the central government, but also marked by the invisible power institutions that do not have a clear rule. A consequence of this trend is that more organizations frustration caused by the failure of "continuous demand for democratization"
